Clos Lojen 2018 – Bobal (DO Manchuela)
Info: Despite being the second most planted red grape in Spain and one of the oldest recorded, not many people have had the opportunity to try it on its own. This wine is made with 30+ year old vines, which helps concentrating flavours and giving an extra layer of complexity.
Tasting notes: Fresh red cherries and raspberries, floral notes (violets, lavender), liquorice, aromatic herbs (oregano) and an earthy scent. Light bodied and very fresh, with lingering finish.
Pairing: Paté or foie grass, mushroom-based dishes, chicken.
